SDCS League Volunteers Form

The League of Amazing Programmers is a non-profit school teaching programming to kids in 5th – 12th grade.Our after-school and weekend classes meet year round to prepare kids for the science and technology careers of the 21st century.
The volunteer teachers are enthusiastic programmers, hardware and software professionals, CS students and robotics hobbyists. They are here to have fun too!

Our curriculum includes coding of amazing video games, social media, mobile device apps and automated robots. Programming is challenging, yet we make it fun and playful. This is your opportunity to share the knowledge and experience you’ve gained with the next generation of hard-thinking kids.

You Will Need:

  • Experience in one or more of the following languages/programs: Java, Python, Unity, or Lua
  • Enjoy working with children (student ages range from 10-16)
  • Transportation to Carmel Valley or other school sites in San Diego…
