Robot Garage Apprentice
Robot Garage Apprentices work closely with instructors on their own builds while helping us explore what projects and lessons work best for future students.
Course Overview
This program is a lot like an internship. Apprentices work very closely with the instructor and are expected to be self-directed, curious builders who can also give thoughtful feedback on what worked and what didn’t. The work apprentices do directly shapes what we teach in our community programs.
Robot Garage Apprentice is free, but it is invitation-only. The primary way we recruit is through our Robot Garage Projects open build days — students who attend Projects Day and demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to help others are the ones we invite into the Apprentice program.
